I made a journal last night. I have to decorate it tonight and then post it at Alexander & Co. I also made little picture holders that I have to decorate too! Now, I'm off to make some more woven elastic headbands.

Next week my baby starts school! That means I can go back to shipping every business day since we'll be out and about going to school!

Shipping

From now until September 2nd I'm changing my shipping to Mondays and Thursdays. I love to get things shipped right away but I feel like I'm going every single day and it's hard to fit it in somedays when we don't have to go out. Well, that and my foot hurts and I'm supposed to not move it around for the next two weeks. :) Starting September 2nd my baby has school everyday so we'll be going out. I figure Mondays will cover the weekend and Thursdays the hubby is off so I don't have to take the kids with.

I have a bunch of new things!! I have all their photos taken now I just have to crop the pictures and list them. A few cute Halloween things, some Pony Os some sparkly clips, headbands, and plain colored clips. I'm also working on some woven elastic headbands, some wedding stuff. Just bunches of things! I just need to get around to listing it! :)

Sale's on! Friday through Sunday with shipping Monday! All flower clippies now at 50%off (50 cents each!!) 25 cents off shipping on flower clips too! I have a few more to list whose photos didn't turn out and just a few more to list because I'm tired of listing them. :)

I also have some other wider clips to list. What should I call them though? They're the same size clip just wider ribbon. Wide Clippies? Fatties? lol

Today is a working day!

I have a lot to do today! I need to put together some headbands, make more flower clips, and more itsy bitsy clips.

I need to take photos of all the stuff I made and crop them for Etsy.

Then I think I'll upload things. Except the flower clips. I'll do those Thursday night. Actually, I might upload them but make them inactive so they're all ready for the weekend. We'll see how much time I have.

I've been working on flower clips like crazy for next weekend's sale. I hope it goes over well! I have a bunch of new things to add along with the flower clips too! Sale starts Friday, July 31st at midnight and goes through Sunday, August 2nd at 11:59pm and I'll mail everything Monday morning! Maybe some other things might go on sale too! I have things that will become inactive soon due to them being listed for Etsy's set amount of time for listings.

I think I'll create new sections for this so people don't have to search. ;)

I also can't wait for Vista Print to send me my new clip and bow cards! It should be a few weeks but I hope I'm happy with the final product.

I've also got things for Alexander & Co. all made up! No Etsy store yet but soon!

New stuff!

Itsy Bitsy Clippies! Right now they're 1.5 inches compared to the 1.75 inch size! I might go smaller even but looking at them smaller than 1.5 inches seemed weird. I'll have to try it out.

Also, some new things by the end of them month! Along with the itsy bitsy clippies watch for the Flower Clippies Sale July 31st, Aug 1st & 2nd! More details to come. Other things might be on sale those days too! I'll post more details when it gets closer!

Have you ever felt guilty about doing lots of things for someone but left someone else out? Stay tuned for Alexander & Co. (there will be a separate Etsy account for that!). As soon as I get my things together we'll open! I'm hoping to open that same weekend!

Working...

I need to set aside times during the week to work on my things. My fortune said so lol!! It said something about my creative side and to work on it so okay I'll try. It's actually been saying that almost all week. It must mean it right? :)

So...I'm in the middle of listing my hair bows and clippies holders right NOW! Yay! I named them. I have three that I need to take photos of yet. My camera batteries are charging so they'll have to wait. I've decided to let Ellie go. I have a princess one that I can make for Maddie since I didn't notice until after I bought it that there's a chip in it. Oh well. There will always be more Ellies. :)

I've also bagged some non-slip grips! They're going by 50 for now but I'll gladly do some custom orders. Actually, I'll gladly do custom orders on anything!

While I'm waiting for Etsy photos to upload here's a good thought! Etsy should have multi uploads. One at a time isn't working for me. Maybe they do though? I haven't really checked. Maybe I should. Boy, would I feel dumb if they did. lol!

Flower Clippies Now Listed

Yay! I'll be listing my hair bow holders shortly after I make some matching clippies to go with them, take their photos again, crop them, measure them, clean up the living room that my tiniest tornado made a mess in, shower, and then come back to the computer. :)

Some new stuff!

This is Ellie. She's my favorite.




I might not sell her. I got the animals at Michael's and then added all the stuff to it to make hair bow holders! I have a ton more to make too. All different things, mostly animals though. I'm going to have to get another Ellie though. She was the first one I did and since I had to dismantle Maddie's bow board because I mistakenly used the wood that belonged to something important (oops haha) her stuff is just in a bucket now. Here's the other's I have done so far:






I also have some more flower clippies that I'm about to crop to size and list. Then...have you ever just been thinking about something totally different and had a thought? I had one of those in the shower this afternoon lol! It involves flower clippies but in a new way. I'm going to try it out tomorrow...which is in 30 mins so maybe I'll just get a head start in a bit and see how it turns out. I think it will so stay tuned!

Listed!

I listed almost everything now! Woohoo! Now I can get on with making more! I left a few things off and if you're looking for pink they'll be back soon! I had a special request so I deactivated some of my pink listings until Friday.

I also added two new categories: Seasonal Accessories and Flower Clippies. If you're looking for seasonal/holiday stuff it's in there. All the clippies with the flowers are in the other one. I'm going to make a bunch more flowers after I finish my orders!

Etsy Is Frying My Brain

I think I've been on this site half the day. I took more photos of my new things and photos of some others that are already listed. I thought some could use a fresh photo so I've been editing those in between being a mom/wife. I am happy to say that I have almost all the editing done and uploaded. I am also happy to say that after I'm done with the ones already listed I'll start listing my new things! I have about 40 some newbies! Yay! Hopefully by tomorrow night they'll all be listed.

I also added a new category: Flower Clippies. I have tons of these flowers that I can put on clippies and they do need their own section badly. Right now there's only going to be a handful listed until I 1)get my basket back that my mother-in-law's neighbor raided :) and 2) make more. They really only take a few minutes to make once I match colors.

Besides the flower clippies my new projects are going to be Halloween/Fall and Christmas/Winter.

I've also decided on price ranges. I'm going to go with simple clippies at 75¢ each so 2/$1.50 etc. Simple bows on a clippie are $1 as are the flower clippies. Big bows are $3, Medium $2 and in between medium and simple are $1.25. Then there's those other ones that don't follow this pattern and I'll just call them specially priced lol.

I thought hard about opening my Ecrater shop back up but I think I've decided to keep it closed. I was just going to list all single clippies on it but I'm going to make more flower clippies, use those leftover singles that I have, and then see what I have left. Right now I probably have about 40 single clippies. If I can't find a flower combo for some I'll make them their own 75¢ clippies section. :)

Someday I'll get around to ordering some headbands. I should do that soon actually. I had three 1" wide ones that I weaved and they all sold in a garage sale. Wonderful huh? I might also do some scrapbooking embellishments. Ooooh! I knooooow! I have a mondo load of scrapbooking stuff. I just need to get the Cricut from my mom. Watch out for that someday.

I like to use "someday" so that I don't have to set a deadline. :)

I really made some new bows and clips!






and get this...I've ALREADY listed them on Etsy! I'm just on a roll today!

I've recruited the hubs to take photos for me. I hate hate hate doing that so from now on anything else I post on Etsy will be taken by him! Yay! It's just so time consuming. I'll have more later on!

I had this all typed out just waiting to publish after I listed my last Etsy listing. Oh well.

I just listed four new items in my Etsy shop! Just a few simple clippies. I need to get more alligator clips and more headbands. I also made a woven barrette with the leftover ribbon from my last headband! I think es muy bueno!! I put all my headbands and the one barrette in my mother-in-law's garage sale so when we get our things back on Wednesday night I'll list what I have left! It's a surprise! I'm not sure what sold but I was told that I did sell some of it! Oh, the suspense!

Here's what I just listed. SMR and I are heading out in search of more headbands, clips, and whatever else we come across. I'm in a clippie making mood this week!






While you're waiting for Wednesday night (okay early Thursday morning probably) I've gotten rid of the discount section and just I've lowered prices! These things don't need to be super expensive right?

Also, next Tuesday through Thursday I'm going camping so any orders will be mailed Monday or Friday!

Headband: take 2

I made one more headband today! I love them! I think I got it now. Tomorrow I'm going to check into getting some more and oddly enough more matching ribbon. I have a lot of ribbon but I don't seem to have a lot of 4 colors that match. Here's the one I did today:



At first I thought it was too busy but I liked it once I put it on. This is my new addiction, I think. Now I just need to find more plain headbands. I can order online too I guess.

When I get around to it I'll be listing on Etsy those bows I posted the other day. I don't know why I haven't done it yet! Maybe it's the headbands. Yeah. That's a good excuse!

Headbands Yay!

This was sooo easy once I figured it out! Thank you YouTube for that video! The written one I found was too hard for me to follow. Seeing it made so much more sense. I'm excited to have figured this out!!! I'm going to have to buy some more bands now!




I'm thinking my next will consist of navy blue, red, yellow, and maybe silver? I'm going to need to get some silver and a certain type of yellow though. :) I could do white instead of silver too. Hmmm. Decisions decisions.

I like that I can sit and watch TV while doing this, too. LOL! Ahh, I love my quiet time at night.

My new bow pt 2

Here it is! It's a little lopsided but what do you want from my first attempt? :)

Today at preschool pickup a mom commented on how cute Maddie's hair was and she had this in it so it can't be too bad right? Actually, as rough as she plays you can't tell the loops are bigger on one side because she doesn't sit still long enough. Well, that and her "sprout" on the top of her head was put in crooked too so nothing was centered haha!

I'm going to go try to create another before I have to get Alex from his second school and leave for an appointment!

New bow

I made a new bow. So far it's just going in Maddie's collection. It's sort of like this one:

Loopy Surrounds

but I only did one surround. It's cute. It's all in pink, white and brown and matched her outfit perfectly today-which I didn't plan haha! I made one more apple one sort of like it but after some practice I'll put them on my Esty.

I was sort of in a slump but I might make more of these. I sort of lost interest in sitting at my craft table trying to figure out what to make. These seem like fun!
