Board Bows!

They're minis! This is the first. They're more like gift sets! These aren't the bows I'll be using though. I still have to make them yet to match but this is how many will be on them and they're just under 12 inches tall. I'm going to make a purple, powder pink, bluish with hearts, white, and yellow with dragonflies. They excite me. :) This is what happened when I went to Walmart this morning. Too much excitement I guess!



Right now they're waiting for Sweet Maddie Rae to wake up to be staple gunned together. I just used hot glue on this one so I could take its photo.

I also have my Superdelicious Dots & Flowers Set of 5 Bows(I think it's 5 I'll have to look) and 2 Clippies all done. Those bows on this board go with that set. I haven't taken their photos yet. I think I'll go do that. I have an hour before my buddy is finished with school.

3am Feeding

har har. Here's what I'm working on! Not now of course. It's 3am. I just finished up and am going to bed. Who does this stuff at 3am anyway?

I'm calling it The Superdelicious Dots and Flowers Set. There will be five flowered bows and two clippies. I haven't decided what I want the bows on yet. Probably clippies. Here's a sneak peek. I've only done the one bow so far but I should finish the rest tomorrow.





Ehh? Eh? It's baseball! I'm not a baseball fan but I do ♥ this one. It turned out just right and didn't give me trouble.


I have a buttload of clippies to list on Etsy later on today! I weeded out my Ecrater store and I think I'm going towards Etsy. It seems as though I'm thinking about listing my #1s on Etsy, #2s on Ecrater, and the hideous "I screwed up bad but they're still wearable" ones on my website. I'll be listing during nap time since the eldest is going to visit great grandma & grandpa. That's if I don't nap myself. I'm off to bed now! Woot woot!

But it was on sale!!

Fiskars had a warehouse sale. Seriously. O.M.G. No way!! If you are a scrapbooker and have never gone to one of these you need a big cart (like HUGE!). I didn't get any papers or stickers and such but I got flowers, ribbons, and brads for my clippies/bows. I got a lot of Heidi Grace designs. Some are selling for $3-$4 a piece on the site. I got 6 pieces for $1.00!!! They sell them straight out of the boxes in whatever plastic packs (bulk) they're shipped in. Mostly 3 and 6 packs. For example:

I got THIS BUT I got six packs of them for ONE DOLLAR instead of that price on that page for just one. Nice huh? I got 23 different things (which is 138 total packs) for $23.00. Part of me wants to go back tomorrow morning to see if there's something different. I went a few hours before they closed but they had things already on pallets saved for tomorrow. Is it worth dragging two kids along? We stood in line for an HOUR to check out. I'd have to bring snacks and possibly a potty. LOL!!

I'll take photos of my loot tomorrow. I can't believe I have never gone to that before! Seriously, if someone had just $500 they could start a scrapbooking store or even just $100 you could buy and resell on eBay. They sold everything separately but it all coordinated by colors. I'm so glad I had a budget haha!!

More stuff coming soon by the way. I'm preparing for my rummage sale so I've been slacking on my stores. It's Friday though. I don't have to get up early Saturday for anything so there should be something new!

Ohh...I got some racing related brads and I have an idea. Perfect for race day Sunday. Yes, I'm taunting you Steph. Haha!!

Again?

Yes again! I've redone my website! It is now Sweet Maddie Rae's Hair Boutique Discount! You can get all my flubs and blunders there for cheap-o! Oh the shame. How embarrassing. Okay, so not everything I make is great (but dang near)! These have their flaws but their not MAJOR flaws. Still wearable.

My next project is finding ways to display everything for my upcoming rummage sale May 8th and 9th. I have A LOT. No lie. The ideas keep coming, too. I also want to do some special gift sets and I have some ideas to make some holders thanks to my other delayed idea. I need some D rings. About 20 of them. Walmart doesn't have them and either did our hardware store. I knooow! You'd think they would but I sent the husband and he even ASKED and they didn't have them. This has caused confusion and delay (heehee)! They were needed for A.J.'s line in the shop. His "where's my name?" question is still haunting me and making me feel bad. Maybe I'll look again tomorrow for something. He will have something to call his own. Oh yes. He will.

Now that I've put everything I've made in my store I can make more! I'd like to thank the wonderful husband for being my inventory control specialist. I write item numbers on the back of all the card holders so he organized them for me so uploading their photos was easier. *Muah*

Someday it'll be warm out and I can dress up my Sweet Maddie Rae and take some photos of her outside modeling. Someday...*sigh*

What else happened today? While looking over the store with Alex he noticed the title and asked what it said. I said "Sweet Maddie Rae's." He asked, "Where's MY stuff?" Way to rip my heart out, buddy. I have an idea for something that can be his own "line" in the store. I hope it works. I'll find out tomorrow night so stay tuned!

Sniff Sniff

I've been neglecting, I know. I've been sick though. I'm on some antibiotics and I think they're finally working. I can smell today and I think I smell....

NEW BOWS!

Isnt my new way of taking their photos fabulous? I love it! It works great for close ups.

I've also started partially lining all the clippies.

They hold much easier. I might put no slip grips on them someday. We'll see.
